Employees of the village shall receive nonsalary remuneration benefits which shall include, but not be limited to, Christmas parties, retirement parties, plaques and recognition of service awards. These benefits shall be administered by the Mayor and Village Administrator and expenditures over $1,000 shall receive prior approval from the Village Council. The amount of money available in any one year to cover this benefit shall be .495% of the prior year’s wages.
