Each permanent full-time employee having accumulated 120 days of unused sick leave may elect to convert additional unused sick leave credited to him or her as follows: for each three days of unused sick leave credit in excess of 120 days, the employee shall be entitled to one day of vacation with pay. No more than five days vacation may be taken in any one calendar year earned by sick leave conversion. All such conversions must be authorized by special permission of the Village Administrator.
