It is the intent of this subchapter to establish an ongoing and orderly program for the repair and replacement of the village sidewalks. Should any property owner request to have a sidewalk replaced or repaired prior to the schedule established by Council, that owner shall have the option to have the sidewalk repaired or replaced according to village specifications, at the owner’s expense.
