(A) Electric service and communication services shall be provided within each subdivision. The following requirements shall apply:
(1) Electric, communication, and street lighting conduits, cables, and wires shall be installed underground. When a development is constructed along an existing street with aerial service lines, such utilities shall be installed underground from the street to the building.
(2) Electric and communication services shall be installed in easements with a minimum width of ten feet and outside of the street right-of-way.
(3) Electric conduits shall be installed crossing under the street near property lines to carry the electric service from the electric easement on one side of the street to the other side.
(B) Gas mains and service lines may be required where available. The following gas main and service line requirements shall apply:
(1) Gas mains may be installed within the street right-of-way.
(2) Where practical, gas mains should be installed on the same side of the street as sanitary sewer mains and two to four feet from the right-of-way line.
