§ 151.603 SANITARY SEWERS.
   (A)   Each lot shall be provided with a connection to the sanitary sewer system. Sanitary sewers shall be installed to adequately serve all lots, including lateral connections to the sanitary sewer mains.
   (B)   The following requirements shall also regulate sanitary sewer installation:
      (1)   Sanitary sewers shall meet the requirements of the Ohio EPA, the Great Lakes Recommended Standards for Wastewater Facilities, and the village.
      (2)   Combination sanitary sewers and storm sewers are prohibited.
      (3)   Roof drains, foundation drains, and other clean water connections to the sanitary sewer are prohibited.
      (4)   Residential sanitary sewer leads should be installed eight feet east or south of the center of each lot.
      (5)   Sanitary sewer leads shall be installed five feet past the street right-of-way line, or five feet beyond the outside edge of a utility easement that parallels the street right-of-way, whichever length is greater.
      (6)   Sanitary sewer leads may connect to a sanitary sewer manhole.
      (7)   Two- and three-family dwelling units shall have a separate sanitary sewer lead installed for each dwelling unit. These leads may be installed near the center of each dwelling unit.
      (8)   Sanitary sewer mains should be installed within the street right-of-way.
      (9)   Sanitary sewer mains should be installed between the curb and the proposed/future sidewalk.
      (10)   Where practical, sanitary sewer mains should be installed on the south or west side of a subdivision street.
      (11)   The subdivider shall supply a certificate of approval from the appropriate state agency to the village.
