§ 151.408 STREET NAMES.
   The following requirements shall apply to street naming:
   (A)   Both public and private street name signs, as approved by the Village Engineer and the Planning Commission, shall be erected at all intersections at the expense of the subdivider.
   (B)   Names of new streets shall not duplicate or nearly duplicate those of existing or platted streets in the village, irrespective of the use of the suffix.
   (C)   Sign design shall conform to village requirements.
   (D)   Whenever a new street is constructed along the approximate alignment or extension of an existing street, its name shall be the same as that of the existing one.
   (E)   Whenever a street alignment changes direction more than 75 degrees without a return to the
original alignment within 500 feet, then the name of the street shall be changed at the point of intersection of the curve. Exemptions from this requirement may be granted by the Village Engineer.
   (F)   When a cul-de-sac street serves not more than three lots, at the discretion of the Village Engineer, the name of the intersecting street shall apply to the cul-de-sac.
   (G)   The Planning Director shall assign addresses, conforming to their street numbering system, for all public and private streets.
