§ 51.30 SERVICE RATES AND CHARGES.
   (A)   Beginning with the June 2014 billing, the following monthly rates for supplying of water services by said waterworks system shall be computed on the following rate schedule:
      (1)   Readiness-to-service and billing charge: $7.20 per month.
      (2)   Water usage:
 
First 1,000,000 gallons
$2.75 per 1,000 gallons
Next 10,000,000 gallons
$2.43 per 1,000 gallons
Over 11,000,000 gallons
$2.26 per 1,000 gallons
 
      (3)   The minimum monthly charge shall be $9.95.
 
         (a)   The Village Council also directs the Administrative and Utility Staff to meet with the village's largest water and wastewater user at a minimum of one time after the first of each calendar year.

   (B)   The following shall be the monthly rates charged for the supplying of water services by the waterworks system:

*The above mentioned yard sprinkler meter shall be connected to permanent yard sprinkler systems only, unless this requirement is waived by the Superintendent of Water. If in the judgement of the Superintendent of Water the plumbing can be verified to show no cross connection with interior uses, the Superintendent may, at his or her discretion, allow outside faucets and yard hydrants only to be connected to the yard sprinkler meter. The Superintendent shall cause inspections to be done on each such installation, at a period not to exceed once every five years. Any person found to illegally connect the meter to interior plumbing shall be deemed in violation of Chapter 51 of this code, and shall be subject to penalties under §§ 51.99 and 10.99.
Bulk water sold from fire hydrants
$8 for first 1,000 gallons in a calendar year
$4 per 1,000 gallons for next 99,000 gallons in a calendar year
$2.19 per 1,000 gallons for all over 100,000 gallons in a calendar year. This rate shall be adjusted at any future time the rate charged to residential users changes, to match the residential rate
