(A) There is hereby levied an annual police, safety and sanitary inspection fee of $500 for the first year, and $100 for each succeeding year thereafter for each oil or gas well drilled, operated, or maintained in the town.
(B) The initial fee paid with and accompanying the application in the first instance shall also include the granting of the permit.
(C) Each successive annual fee paid after the first shall also cover and include permission to continue such drilling, operation, and maintenance operations.
