(A) There is hereby created the office of Plumbing Inspector for the town.
(B) The Plumbing Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Town Board of Trustees; the Plumbing Inspector may also hold other positions in the municipal government.
(C) The Plumbing Inspector shall have all of the powers and duties prescribed by the plumbing codes adopted by this code of ordinances; he or she shall also ensure that all municipal ordinances and regulations relating to water and sanitary plumbing are properly enforced.
