§ 31.27 ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR.
   (A)   There is hereby created the office of Electrical Inspector for the town. The Electrical Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Town Board of Trustees.
   (B)   The Electrical Inspector shall have had experience as an electrician, shall be of good moral character, and shall be either licensed by the state or certified by BOCA. The Electrical Inspector may hold other positions in the municipal government.
   (C)   The Electrical Inspector shall have all of the powers and duties prescribed by the electrical codes adopted by this code of ordinances; he or she shall also ensure that all municipal ordinances and regulations relating to electrical safety are properly enforced.
