§ 31.23 TOWN ATTORNEY.
   (A)   The Town Attorney may be appointed by the Town Board of Trustees on a contractual basis.
   (B)   The Town Attorney shall be the prosecuting officer of the Municipal Court and shall have the power to prosecute for violations of ordinances and to prosecute and resist appeals and proceedings in error and review.
   (C)   The Town Attorney shall perform such other duties as the Town Board of Trustees may require provided such duties are included within the scope of the contractual arrangement.
