(A) Officers and employees of the municipal government may be removed for cause. Causes for removal (provided under 22 O.S. § 1181, as amended) include neglect of duty, gross partiality, oppression, corruption, extortion or willful overcharge, maladministration, drunkenness, and failure to account for public funds and property.
(B) Proceedings for removal, insofar as possible, shall be conducted in accordance with 75 O.S. as amended.
