§ 75.04 WHERE PARKING OR STOPPING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   No person shall stop or park a vehicle except when necessary to avoid a conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law, ordinance, the directions of a police officer or traffic control device, or in an emergency situation in any of the following places:
      (1)   On any sidewalk;
      (2)   In front of or obstructing any driveway;
      (3)   Within an intersection;
      (4)   Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant (except in an officially-marked parking space);
      (5)   Within or on a crosswalk;
      (6)   Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station;
      (7)   Near any street work or excavation when stopping or parking would obstruct traffic;
      (8)   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street (double-parking or double-stopping);
      (9)   In any alley where less than ten feet of the roadway will be left available for the movement of vehicular traffic; or
      (10)   At any place where official signs prohibit stopping.
   (B)   The Town Board is hereby authorized to establish parking time limits and to prohibit parking on designated streets and parts of streets by having appropriate signs placed thereon.
