(A) Each consumer of water furnished by the town shall lay his or her own pipeline from the premises to the property line for the purpose of conveying water to such point on his or her premises as he or she may desire; he or she shall thereafter be required to keep the same in good repair and sanitary condition.
(B) All service lines to be installed after the effective date of this chapter shall include a master shutoff valve between the meter and the premises.
