The purpose of this chapter is to promote the general welfare of the residents of the city by endorsing the provisions of the Nebraska Fair Housing Act, Neb. RS 20-344, to the effect that there shall be no discrimination in the city in the acquisition, ownership, possession or enjoyment of housing in accordance with Article I, § 25 of the Constitution of the State of Nebraska.
