This subchapter does not apply to the following:
(A) Consumption or possession of alcohol by an underage person when with his or her parent while present in the parent's household and no event or gathering is occurring;
(B) Legally protected religious observances; or
(C) Underage persons who are lawfully in possession of alcohol or alcoholic beverages during the course and scope of his or her employment as permitted by law.
