Every vehicle parked upon any street with a curb shall be parked parallel to and with the right-hand wheels of the vehicle within 12 inches of the right-hand curb. On streets without a curb, a vehicle shall be parked to the right of the main traveled portion thereof and parallel thereto and in a manner as not to interfere with the free flow of traffic. A violation of this section is a petty misdemeanor.
