In the event a stop work order is issued by the village due to noncompliance by the permittee with the terms of this subchapter, then the person holding the permit and engaging in the work shall immediately cease all activities until their work is brought into conformity and they receive written permission to proceed by the village. If the work is not brought into conformity with this ordinance to the satisfaction of the village, then the village shall be entitled to receive from the permittee the actual expense incurred by the village in bringing the job site compliant with this subchapter.
