Any owner and/or occupant who is served a notice of violation of any of the provisions of this chapter may, within ten days of receipt of the notice, appeal the findings of the Property Maintenance Officer. Such appeal shall be made by filing with the Mayor a notice of appeal. The appeal shall be scheduled for a hearing before the Village Council. Except as otherwise provided for herein, the hearing before the of Village Council shall be conducted in the same manner as provided for appeals under the village ordinance.
