§ 154.06  ENFORCEMENT OFFICER; REMOVAL OF UNSAFE STRUCTURES.
   (A)   Appointment. The Township Supervisors shall have the Code Enforcement Officer enforce the provisions of this subchapter.
   (B)   Duties of the inspector.
      (1)   If the Code Enforcement Officer shall find that any billboard has been constructed or erected or is being maintained in violation of the provisions of this subchapter, he or she shall promptly notify the owner or lessor thereof in writing. If the owner or lessor fails to remove or alter the billboard so as to comply with provisions of this subchapter within 30 days, the Code Enforcement Officer shall cause such billboard to be removed or altered in such way as to conform with the provisions of this subchapter. The cost of such removal or alteration shall be borne by the owner or lessor of such billboard and shall be a lien upon the premises.
      (2)   The Code Enforcement Officer shall cause any billboard which is in immediate peril to persons or property to be removed immediately. The cost of such removal shall be borne by the owner or lessor of such billboard and shall be a lien upon the premises.
