By ordinance of the Board of Supervisors as hereinbefore provided, streets in the township may be designated and declared to be yield intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected for traffic on such streets in the direction or directions and at such intersections as the Board of Supervisors shall, from time to time by ordinance, direct. The operator of every vehicle approaching any such intersection facing any yield sign in the direction or directions designated by any such said ordinance of the Board of Supervisors shall yield to oncoming traffic before entering any such intersection.
