§ 30.02  REWARD FOR INFORMATION.
   (A)   Authorization for payment. The township hereby authorizes the payment of rewards for certain information, as described herein.
   (B)   Rewards restricted to particular crimes or offenses. The Township Board of Supervisors may, from time to time, establish the particular crimes or offenses for which the provision of information shall lead to such rewards. Rewards will be given only for the offenses and only in the amounts explicitly stated in such township resolution.
   (C)   Rewards paid by township.
      (1)   The rewards paid by the township shall be offered only for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of persons who commit capital crimes within the township or for the violation of any township ordinance.
      (2)   Although any resolution of the Supervisors may limit the number and type of offenses for which information will be rewarded, no such resolution may expand the reward program to cover any offenses not described in this section.
   (D)   Amounts.
      (1)   The members of the Board of Supervisors hereby offer to any individual the following rewards for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of persons who commit the following acts, in violation of township ordinance(s):

      (2)   Should more than one person provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the same person(s) for the same offense(s), the reward described above shall be paid to the first person furnishing such information to the township.
