(A) Authority. This subchapter is adopted pursuant to the enabling provisions of NMSA § 35-14-11, as amended.
(B) Purpose. The purpose of this subchapter is to establish the assessment and allocation of correction fees, judicial education fees and court automation fees to be collected as court costs, as required by and in accordance with NMSA § 35-14-11, from persons convicted of violating any ordinance relating to the operation of a motor vehicle or any ordinance that may be enforced by the imposition of a term of imprisonment.
