(A) Ohio Revised Code § 9.60 states any firefighting agency of this state or any private fire company may provide fire protection to any state agency or instrumentality, county, or political subdivision of this state, or to a governmental entity of an adjoining state, without a contract to provide fire protection, upon the approval of the governing board of the fire fighting agency or private fire company and upon authorization of an officer or an employee of the fire fighting agency providing the fire protection designated by title of their office or position pursuant to the authorization of the governing board of the fire fighting agency.
(B) The Village of Anna Fire Department has studied the need for cooperation among fire departments during disasters.
(C) The “Guidelines of the Ohio Fire Service Emergency Response,” copies of which are on file in the office of the Fiscal Officer, is adopted and incorporated as part of this code of ordinances as fully as if set out at length herein.
