(A) Ohio Revised Code § 9.39 allows for the creation of a fund to receive and expend moneys received from unclaimed funds.
(B) The Unclaimed Moneys Trust Fund will be established with fund number “9101.”
(C) The Ohio Revised Code also mandates that the funds should be held in trust for a period of five years.
(D) If after five years the funds are still unclaimed they will revert back to the appropriate funds where they originated from.
