(A) A $50 memorial will be given for the employees, officials, families of employees and officials who are immediate family members as defined in the Human Resource Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual and for past employees and officials of the village.
(B) A $50 gift of flowers or similar donation will be given for employees and officials:
(1) The recognition of retirement with 20 or more years of service to the village.
(2) The recognition of an 80th birthday or higher.
(3) The recognition of a new family member (marriage, birth, adoption, etc.)
(C) Council may approve further donations or other recognition to commemorate events or individuals on a case by case basis. Such approval shall take place at a regularly scheduled Council meeting by a majority vote.
(D) It shall be the responsibility of the Fiscal Officer to carry out the provisions of this section.
