(A) The Fire Chief has the authority to appoint any volunteer firefighter of the Village of Anna to the position of Deputy Chief with the advice and consent of the Mayor.
(B) The Fire Chief has the authority to organize the Department to create other positions and to appoint volunteer firefighters to those positions provided no additional compensation is paid to individuals above and beyond what is already authorized for a volunteer firefighter.
