§ 38.02 COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK/FINE PROGRAM.
   (A)   The Village Council determines it to be not adverse to the interest of the village to establish a Community Service Work/Fine Program in accordance with the provisions of Ohio law.
   (B)   The Community Service Work/Fine Program is hereby established to authorize and permit the Mayor to impose sentences for misdemeanor convictions in the Village of Anna Mayor’s Court which require the performance of community service or, alternatively, to provide a means to satisfy payment of a fine for those persons convicted of a misdemeanor in the Village of Anna Mayor’s Court and who are financially unable to pay the fine.
   (C)   The Mayor and Fiscal Officer are hereby authorized and instructed to take all necessary steps to establish the Community Service Work/Fine Program and to obtain the necessary workers’ compensation coverage and/or insurance needed to accommodate the program.
