§ 113.20 POLE LINE REGULATIONS.
   Any company selected hereunder shall furnish the village, at least annual maps or prints showing the pole line system in sufficient detail to assess the village of being currently advised as to the location of the cables of the system. It shall be the responsibility of the company to keep the village advised of any material changes and additions and removals in the system except for the individual subscriber’s connection wires. Wherever within the village, other wire carriers such as telephone and electric utilities are compelled, required or elect to place the wires underground the company shall also place its wire facilities underground. No poles or towers shall be installed by the company on village streets, alleys, or public ways except the poles as may be necessary due to the fact that the pole spacing of either the electrical or telephone utility makes it impractical to use same. In an event, the company may set an intervening additional pole within the normal spacing of the electric or telephone utility’s pole line, providing specific written approval shall first be obtained from the Village Council as to actual need. In no event shall the absence of a pole line agreement be regarded as justification for installing poles or towers.
