The full time Police Lieutenant shall serve as second-in-command to the Chief of Police, in accordance with the job description available at the village office. The Police Lieutenant shall serve as second-in-command to the Chief of Police and shall act in his or her place should the Chief be unavailable or unable to perform his or her job functions in addition to other duties that the village may assign.
