§ 114.12 FEDERAL, STATE AND CITY JURISDICTION.
   (A)   This chapter shall be construed in a manner consistent with all applicable federal and state laws now in effect or hereafter amended.
   (B)   In the event that the State of Ohio or the Federal Government discontinues its preemption in any area of video service or cable communications over which it currently exercises jurisdiction in such a way so as to expand municipal authority rather than limit municipal authority, then in such event, the village may, if it so elects, adopt rules and regulations, or pass ordinances in those areas to the extent permitted by State and/or Federal law.
