Traffic control shall be the responsibility of the contractor performing the work and shall provide for the safety of the traveling public and work site personnel. One lane of traffic shall remain open at all times. In the event that road closure is absolutely necessary, twenty four (24) hour advance notice shall be given to the public works department, police department, and fire and EMS departments.
