The state of New Mexico promotes and supports the video film industry and encourages said industry to produce movies throughout the state. A film production can be an economic generator that often requires the use of public rights of way. This chapter provides for a permit process that will protect improvements on those rights of way and will ensure that it provides for vehicular traffic circulation for emergency responders and the general public.
