§ 33.01 PLAN COMMISSION.
   (A)   The County Plan Commission is hereby designated as the town’s Advisory Plan Commission. When acting for the town, the County Plan Commission shall have all powers and duties that a municipal Plan Commission has under advisory planning law. The Town Council shall retain and have absolute control over all matters that require legislative approval pursuant to state law.
   (B)   As a result of designating the County Plan Commission to act as the Town Plan Commission, residents of the town are eligible to be appointed citizen members of the County Plan Commission under I.C. 36-7-4-410(b). Upon acceptance of this designation and pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4-410(a), the County Plan Commission (and the Countywide Department of Community Development acting for the Plan Commission) shall obtain the full amount of fees and charges provided for in the applicable zoning ordinance and subdivision control ordinance as payment for expenses properly chargeable for planning services contemplated herein.
