This chapter is enacted pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 4.5 (commencing with Section 66498.1) of Division 2 of Title 7 the Government Code of the State of California (hereinafter referred to as the Vesting Tentative Map Statute). It is the purpose of this chapter to establish procedures for the implementation of the Vesting Tentative Map Statute and to supplement the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act and Chapter 17.08 of this Code. Except as otherwise expressly set forth in this chapter, the provisions of Chapter 17.08 shall apply to, and govern the processing of vesting tentative maps. This chapter shall expire upon the termination or repeal of the Vesting Tentative Map Statute. (Ord. 4776 § 1 (part); November 12, 1986.)
