A parcel map shall be filed and recorded for any subdivision for which a parcel map is required by the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California.
Such maps shall meet all the requirements for a parcel map of the Subdivision Map Act and of this chapter and may show all dedications or offers of dedication thereon. The City Engineer may require that such dedications or offers of dedication be made by deed in lieu of or in addition to appearing on the map.
