10.24.040   VIOLATIONS A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
   Any violation of the provisions of this Section shall constitute a public nuisance. The General Manager of the Public Utilities Department is authorized to discontinue water service to any premises on which is located (1) a prohibited cross-connection or (2) a backflow prevention device which has not been tested and determined to function properly. (Ord. 5725 § 2 (part); April 18, 2000.)
