Every person or entity which installs, vends from, operates or maintains a newsrack on a public sidewalk or parkway in the City of Anaheim shall file a written statement with the Director, satisfactory to the City Attorney, agreeing to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City, its officers, City Council members and employees, from any loss or liability or damage, including expenses and costs, for bodily or personal injury, and for property damage sustained by any person as a result of the installation, operation, or maintenance of a newsrack or newsracks within the City of Anaheim.
