4.08.090 NONCONFORMING SIGNS A NUISANCE — ABATEMENT — VIOLATIONS — PENALTIES.
   In the event any person should place any sign in violation of the provisions of this chapter, such sign is hereby declared to be unlawful and a public nuisance, and the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim shall, upon order of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, immediately commence action or actions, proceeding or proceedings, for the abatement and removal and enjoinment thereof in the manner provided by law, and shall take such other steps and shall apply to such court or courts as may have jurisdiction to grant such relief as will abate and remove such sign and restrain and enjoin any such person from continuing such sign in place or placing any sign contrary to the provisions of this chapter.
   Any person, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished in the manner provided in Section 1.01.370. Such person shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of this chapter is committed, continued or permitted by such person, and shall be punishable as herein provided.
