.010 The provisions of Section 2080 et seq. of the Civil Code of California or any successor statute thereto, shall govern the disposition of unclaimed or abandoned property in the possession of the Anaheim Police Department.
.020 Under the provisions of Section 217 of the Welfare and Institutions Code of California, any bicycles or other children’s toys in the possession of the Anaheim Police Department may be turned over to any charitable or non-profit organization, as determined by the United States Internal Revenue Service, which is competent to provide a program or activity designed to prevent juvenile delinquency within the City of Anaheim.
