The Community Services Board is an advisory body and, as such, shall have the power and duty to:
.010 Advise the City Council of the social service needs of the citizens of the City of Anaheim;
.020 Hold public meetings to receive input regarding social services from citizens and from other governmental and private nonprofit organizations providing social services within the City of Anaheim;
.030 Recommend methods to coordinate social service programs provided by the City, other governmental agencies, and private nonprofit organizations;
.040 Recommend methods to match social service needs and the available social service resources;
.050 Recommend methods to avoid duplication and waste of the social services provided by the City, other governmental agencies, and private nonprofit organizations;
.060 Hold public meetings and public hearings as required for state and federal programs;
