Any person who knowingly makes any false statement, representation, record, report, or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to this subchapter, or who falsifies, tampers with, or knowingly renders inaccurate any backflow assembly, device, or method required under this subchapter shall be subject to civil and/or criminal penalties provided by state law.
