§ 153.99 PENALTY.
   (A) A person convicted of violating a provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $500 except for demolition of a structure which shall be as provided for in § 153.09(D).
   (B)   A person convicted of demolishing a historic landmark without first securing a demolition permit shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $1,500.
   (C)   In the event of the owner/occupier fails to pay a fine imposed upon conviction of a violation, the court may issue a show cause order to the individual so charged and require his or her presence in court to set forth the reasons for said failure to pay. If good and sufficient reasons do not exist, the Court may request the Council to adopt an ordinance making the amount a lien against the property.
