The City of Amboy requires any person to obtain a zoning permit for any external solid fuel-fired heating device or external storage unit that is sold or purchased after the date this subchapter becomes effective. If the City Council approves the device and the storage method for the fuel, it shall issue a permit which shall specifically set out what has been approved. The device and/or the storage method used by the landowner must comply with this permit.
