A. Fees Established: The fees for building permits issued for the erection, construction, alterations, repairs or removal of any wall, fence, building or structure, or part thereof, shall be as hereinafter provided:

B. Waiver Of Fees: Recognizing that Piasa Area Habitat for Humanity is a not for profit corporation whose main purpose is to upgrade and improve current housing stock and provide better housing for lower income people within the City as well as elsewhere, the building permit fees required by this section shall be waived with regard to any properties owned by or contracted to be improved by Piasa Area Habitat for Humanity. With the exception of the waiver of the fees, Piasa Area Habitat for Humanity shall in all other respects be required to comply with the provisions of this chapter and to obtain appropriate permits.
C. Charitable Waiver Of Fees: Recognizing that Christmas in April is a not for profit corporation whose main purpose is to upgrade and improve current housing stock and to provide better housing for lower income people within the City of Alton, the building permit fees required by this section shall be waived with regard to any properties owned by or contracted to be improved by Christmas in April. With the exception of the waiving of the fees, Christmas in April shall in all other respects be required to comply with the provisions of this chapter and to obtain all appropriate permits.
