A. Permit To Repair: No person shall remove, repair or in any manner disturb any sidewalk without first having obtained a permit form the Department of Public Works specifying the work to be done (and any violation of the terms of such permit shall render same null and void). (1917 Code, § 1238)
B. No Repair Without Permit: It shall also be the duty of the police officers to see to it that no person shall remove, repair or in any manner disturb any sidewalk without first having obtained a proper permit from the Department of Public Works. (1917 Code, § 1241)
