The City Treasurer shall cause to be maintained, a record of all establishments and various regulatory documents which may from time to time be deemed necessary for the purpose of classifying, inspecting, serving and regulating all establishments in the City. Subject to the terms and provisions of this chapter, upon payment in full of the required document fee to the City, the City shall issue a certificate or similar evidence of the regulation which shall be displayed by the owner of establishment in a conspicuous place. Such evidence of regulation shall bear the signature of the Mayor and City Clerk and be issued under the Corporate Seal. (Ord. 4364, 10-25-1978, eff. 1-1-1979; amd. Ord. 5419, 1-10-1990)
