3-2-5: ASSISTANTS:

The Mayor may appoint assistants to the Corporation Counselor and the City Attorney, by and with the consent of the City Council. Any such assistants shall be attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, and they shall perform such duties as may be assigned to them by the Corporation Counselor or the City Attorney from time to time. (1999 Code)
