5-2-7: WILD ANIMALS:
It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, offer for sale, barter, give away, keep or purchase any "wild animal", as defined in section 5-2-1 of this chapter, and which by its nature or the nature of its kind, is fierce, dangerous, noxious, or naturally inclined to do harm, except a facility for education or scientific purposes may keep such an animal if protective devices adequate to prevent such animal from escaping or injuring the public are provided and sanitary conditions are provided for protection of the public health and watershed.
