The following departments shall operate within the city for the management and operation of the city’s functions:
(A) Management Services Department.
(B) Department of Parks and Recreation.
(C) Department of Finance.
(D) Department of Public Works and Utilities.
(1) Whenever hereinafter in this code the words “Public Works Department,” or “Department of Public Works,” or “City Public Works Department,” or “Public Works,” or “City Department of Public Works,” or “City of Alhambra Public Works Department,” or “Department of Public Services” are used, the words “Department of Public Works and Utilities” shall be substituted in lieu thereof.
(2) Whenever hereinafter in this code the words “Water Division of the Department of Public Works,” or “Utilities Department,” or “Water Division of the Department of Public Services,” or “Water Department,” are used, the words “Department of Public Works and Utilities” shall be substituted in lieu thereof.
(E) Community Development Department.
(F) Fire Department.
(G) Human Resources Department. Whenever hereinafter in this code the words “Personnel Department” or “Personnel Office” are used, the words “ Human Resources Department” shall be substituted in lieu thereof.
(H) Library.
(I) Police Department.
